Meet Cheryl H., Clinical Aesthetician

What do you do? What is your specialty?

I treat patients anywhere from 11 to 100 years old, specializing in acne treatment, anti-aging treatments, chemical peels, relaxation treatments and microdermabrasion. The facials I do are European facials. I give oxygen treatments, and I also do custom blending of skin-care products.

What is your favorite part of the job?

Working with people and seeing results, making new friends with my patients.

Why do clients benefit from your services?

We enhance the beauty they already have. We clear up their acne and help people age at a more comfortable pace.

What is your professional and educational background?

I have 10 years of cosmetic experience, and I have a degree from the Academy of Cosmetology Careers, in Facial Technology.

Out of your time at Aesthetic Surgical Arts, what moment or experience is the most memorable to you?

When I was doing a consultation with someone regarding their skin. I told her what we could do for her, and she was so happy, she started crying. She felt it was the first time anyone could do anything for her. She continued with the treatments and was ecstatic; she could hardly believe it. And she continues to be happy!
