Dr. Fausett in a cosmetic consult

Our Doctors’ Surgical Philosophy

If you are like most people, deciding to explore your cosmetic or reconstructive surgery options is a big decision. Choosing the right surgeon is the most important factor in making sure any procedure you decide on is successful.

Dr. Fausett understands that facial plastic surgery requires skill, judgment, and a willingness to be open and honest with patients. He is conservative in his approach to any surgery. You will know that while he is developing a successful treatment plan, your goals are of utmost importance.

Dr. Fausett will not recommend cosmetic procedures unless he feels that you will benefit, and that you have realistic expectations of what the outcome will be. During your consultation with him, you will have ample time to ask questions, and get to know one another. At this time, he can explain any and all procedures that you are interested in having and prepare you for your procedure.

Dr. Blake V. Fausett MD PhD

Fellowship Trained Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Fausett joined Aesthetic Surgical Arts in 2016.  He has always enjoyed working with his hands and figuring out how things work. Early in residency, he found that his passion for repairing and understanding was best suited for a career in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face and eyes. He finds that meticulous attention to detail, while still focusing on the broad view, produces the best functional and cosmetic results.

Dr. Fausett graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed residency at the Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan.  He then completed a two year fellowship with the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under the direction of Dr. Jeffery Nerad at the Cincinnati Eye Institute.  Dr. Fausett has the skills and expertise needed to treat adults and children with various oculofacial conditions.

Dr. Fausett is a talented surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of droopy eyelids, eyelid malposition, tearing disorders, eyelid and orbital tumors, orbital fractures and eyelid reconstruction.  He is an expert in oculofacial cosmetic surgery and performs upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, face lifts and brow lifts. Dr. Fausett also use his exceptional skills as he teams with local dermatologist to perform reconstructive surgery after Mohs surgery.  He also offers non-surgical treatments of cosmetic facial concerns using lasers, chemical peels, neurotoxins and fillers
