Although not a filler, this product is a hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable that increases hydration to improve skin smoothness. It provides a lasting glow for up to 6 months with optimal treatment. In a clinical study, patients treated with SKINVIVE™ reported higher satisfaction with how glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy their skin looked.
Skin Tightening With CO2 Laser
Laser skin tightening with a CO2 laser works by affecting the superficial (epidermis) and deep(dermis) layers of the skin. The CO2 laser can target both layers by utilizing tiny dots of high-intensity energy. The laser works by focusing light energy on water molecules; the energy causes temperature elevation which results in tissue evaporation or ablation. Ablative lasers effectively treat a broad range of skin conditions by removing all or part of the skin to reduce deep scars, wrinkles, and other skin imperfections. The body’s natural healing processes then replace the damaged skin with new and healthy tissue. Although several types of ablative lasers exist, CO2 lasers have long been considered the industry’s ‘Gold Standard’ for ablation, delivering an exceptional ratio between ablation and coagulation (heating tissue without evaporating it).
